Career Innovator was born shortly after Julie's first daughter in 2020. As a new mother facing a return to the workforce after a high-risk pregnancy, and after fifteen years watching organizations lean on rigid, process-driven approaches that forgot people, she decided to build something different.

Not a better recruiting firm. A fundamentally different kind of partner — one that treated talent decisions as the human decisions they actually are.

The firm started with Fortune 500 searches, referral only, taking roles no one else wanted to touch. The fill rate held near-perfect. The clients came back. And then they started asking for more — advisory, development programs, early career pipelines, HR stand-up. We never built a practice speculatively. Every one of them was earned.
